Meet Amber Renée
Amber Renée Johnson is the founder of Legacy 31 PR. Amber is a native of Memphis, TN, but she currently resides in Nashville, TN.
At an early age, Amber knew she wanted to have a career in journalism and entertainment. In college, Johnson originally majored in broadcast journalism, but after interning at The Commercial Appeal, she gained interest in Public Relations. During her time at Middle Tennessee State University, Amber served as the Public Relations coordinator for MTSU’s chapter of The National Association of Black Journalists.
During her college years and early post-grad years, Amber worked as a public relations assistant to P- Valley actress Brandee Evans. This is where Amber developed her P.R skills and gained a passion for entertainment PR.
In December 2015, Amber graduated from MTSU, with a degree in Media and Entertainment, with a concentration in Public Relations. Amber also has a minor in English and Entrepreneurship.
After college, Amber became a freelance publicist and web designer. She has designed websites for many small businesses and public figures. Amber’s passion for public relations and for her clients is what birthed Legacy 31 PR.
Amber believes in embracing the moment and finding the positive in every situation. Amber’s hobbies include advocating for mental health and self- love, talking and writing, and enjoying life. One day, Amber hopes to return to her broadcast journalism roots to develop a talk show.
